Products

Are Vickerey products animal-friendly and cruelty-free?
Yes, we're proud that all of our products are animal-friendly.This means that they're free of ingredients and materials derived from harming animals (such as leather and fur). So if you see a product looks like fur or leather, trust us, it's not - rather it's a fine faux synthetic alternative.

And of course, all our products are cruelty-free. We ensure all products (and ingredients) are free of animal testing. This means that the manufacturer doesn't conduct, commission, nor is party to animal testing, nor does it purchase/sell ingredients, formulations or products from suppliers that test on animals. We recognize the internationally accepted standard "Not Tested On Animals" (CCIC).

Are Vickerey products vegetarian and vegan?
Yup, all Vickerey products are vegetarian, meaning that they're free of ingredients and materials derived from harming animals. In fact, most products are vegan, and none contain leather, fur, silk, or wool.

Note that a few products may contain ingredients such as honey, milk or lanolin.  So while most products at Vickerey are vegan, there are a few exceptions. For instance, there is a local company which uses beeswax from their own beehive to make a wonderful hand lotion.

Are Vickerey products eco-friendly, organic and/or all-natural?
We're passionate about offering products that are beautiful, stylish, and eco-friendly, too. We strive to be a leader in environmentally friendly practices, and have been in the forefront since we started back in 2001. It's been great to see so many changes since then, and we're excited about all the wonderful, eco-friendly products that are available today. We center our selection on "green", sustainable products that are consciously chosen, making it easy to enjoy life while treading a bit lighter.

Organic: We offer a great  selection of apparel products made with eco-friendly materials, such as organic cotton, bamboo, hemp, and tencel, as well as paper products made from eco-friendly Lokta paper. Organically grown crops have been grown without the application of chemicals or pesticides to the soil or plants.

All-Natural: Our wonderful Bath&Spa product selection is centered on holistic, all-natural, plant-based and synthetic-free ingredients.  All-natural products are derived from natural plant and mineral sources with minimal processing and are free of preservatives and synthetic ingredients.  

Recycled: Many Vickerey products and their packaging are made with recycled materials, including recycled polyester, and post-consumer waste.

Vegetarian: Many studies have shown that reducing meat consumption makes a stronger impact on the environment and reducing our carbon footprint than any other activity.

Where is sizing information posted?
On each apparel product page you'll discover a sizing chart at the bottom of the page (see example below). We carry lot of different brands and each one tends to vary a bit in their sizing, so our size charts are specific to each product.
In addition, we include specific fit tips to help you get a great fit. If you should have any questions, please call our customer service. Also, if you don't see a measurement you'd like to know about, let us know and we'll get it for you. We're happy to help.
Do you price match?
Not really, because Vickerey offers competitive product pricing and shipping rates. If you find this isn’t the case, then we'd love to hear from you.
Do you give bulk discounts?
Several items on our site have bulk discounts posted. If you wish to order a product that does not list bulk pricing, give us a call and let us know what you’re interested in, how many, and the timeframe in which you need the items.

Do I pay Sales Tax?
Good News! Sales tax is only collected on orders sent to destinations within the state of Colorado. So, if we’re not sending it to a Colorado address, we do not collect sales tax!
Can you notify me of sales, discounts, free gifts and other happenings?
Yes! Simply sign up for our friendly newsletter. Just click here to subscribe. We promise we won't fill your inbox with endless emails, and we never sell, rent, or share email addresses
Yikes! What if entered the wrong or incomplete shipping/billing address information?
No worries, just let us know by sending an email to info@vickerey.com. We do need accurate and complete shipping addresses to ensure you get your package easily and perfectly. A missing Suite or Apt # can cause a package to be mis-delivered, so let us know about these.

We do use advanced address verification software which will catch simple errors like a mis-typed zip code, assuming you provide us with a correct city and state. If our address verification software doesn't validate an address, we'll contact you.

Can I make changes to an order after it’s been placed?
Sure, just as long as we haven't sent it already (we pride ourselves on fast shipping)- so call or email us as soon as possible with your change (1-800-962-1050 or info@vickerey.com). If your order hasn't shipped, we'll make the updates and send a new email confirmation or get back to you with any questions.
Can I cancel an order?
Sure, just as long as we haven't sent it already - so call or email us as soon as possible to let us know (1-800-962-1050 or info@vickerey.com).  If your order has not yet shipped, we're happy to accommodate any changes.

Once you click the Place Order button at the end of the check out process, our fulfillment process begins, so make sure to let us know quickly. We pride ourselves on fast shipping.

If your order has shipped prior to notifying us, you can always return your order - so no worries.

How can I check the status of my order (status of my delivery)?
As soon as your order ships, we send you a shipment confirmation email with a link to track your order. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us for assistance 1-800-963-1050.
Do you ship internationally?
We appreciate your interest and would love to be of service, however we do not ship internationally at this time. We certainly apologize for any inconvenience.
Can I buy a Vickerey product locally?
Vickerey is a popular on-line store, with many unique products that are not found elsewhere. We strive to make ordering so easy, quick to receive, and simple to exchange that we can save you both time and money by purchasing on-line with us.

Since we're a retailer, we don't manufacture or distribute products to other retailers, so we simply don't have information as to where else they might be sold..

Do you have a retail store?

Yes!! We're based in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. and our outlet store is located at 4775 Walnut Street.. If you find yourself in sunn Boulder, we'd ;ove to have you stop by - it's open Monday - Friday from 10am - 4pm.

Local customers are welcome to make 'will call' orders and stop by to pick them up and perhaps shop the outlet, too.

I used a debit card and my electronic bank statement appears to show I was double charged, is this possible?

No, but on rare occasions, it can temporarily look like this has happened (but no worries, it hasn't).

A debit card works differently than a credit card. When you place an order, the amount of your order is pre-authorized against the card you use. With a credit card, you don't see the pre-authorization on your on-line statement; however, with a debit card, you'll likely see the pre-authorization on your on-line statement. Banks place the authorized amount on hold to ensure the funds are available, and this temporarily appears as a debit.

Once your order is processed (picked, packed and shipped), we charge the order amount against your card. When this happens, the pre-authorization is changed to a charge. Sometimes the authorization continues to show on your statement, in addition to the actual charge. If this happens, you can either wait 24-48 hours for the authorization to be automatically removed by your bank or you can contact your bank. This is function of your bank which isn't under our control, and each bank is slightly different.

How can I calculate my shipping costs?
A link to our shipping table is provided on every product page to the right of the "Add to Basket" button. When you're ready to check out, we've provided a handy shipping calculator at the bottom of the shopping basket screen:

There is also a "Calculate" button on the Shipping page during check out, so you know the shipping costs prior to placing your order.

Do I get Free Shipping on an apparel exchange?
Yes! If you need a different size of an apparel item, simply call us toll-free at 1-800-963-1050 to receive free shipping on your apparel exchange. We’ll place a new order for your exchange with FREE STANDARD SHIPPING and send it immediately. When we receive your return, we’ll refund the original order.
How quickly will I receive my package?

We’ll place a new order for your exchange with Free Standard Shipping and send it immediately. When we receive your return, we’ll refund the original order. Don’t be shy! What is my return tracking number?
This helps us expedite your return, but it's not necessary. Call us toll-free at 1-800-963-1050 to receive one or if you choose not to call, just use your order #.
How will I know I have been credited back for a return?
No wondering and worrying, we’ll send you an e-mail when your refund is complete — it’s fast, generally 1-2 business days after we receive your return.
How can I exchange a gift?
Not a problem, you can do one of the above also. If you decide to do it yourself, please enclose the purchaser's name and address with your return and indicate if you would like to exchange, refund the purchaser, or receive a store credit. If you select store credit, please provide the email address where you would like the credit sent.

Wholesale

Do you wholesale?
No. While we certainly appreciate your interest, we aren't able to help, because Vickerey.com is retail-only and is not a distributor/wholesaler for any products. We're unable to provide contact information for products we carry (there are just too many), so the best bet is to attend a trade show (try this site: http://www.tsnn.com). Miscellaneous

Do you use recycled packing material?
Of course! In support of our company upholding “Zero Waste” status, we purchase packaging that's made Zero Waste from recycled materials. We also recycle all packing materials that come into our warehouse from suppliers by reusing them! (While we encourage companies we work with to use eco-friendly materials, that doesn't always happen, so we work with that - don't get alarmed if you see styrofoam peanuts in your package, we're just recycling them.) The bulk of our packing material is clean, recycled waste paper that we acquire locally.

In addition, our gift boxes are recycled and are approved by the Save the Forest Foundation as meeting the highest environmental standards. The tissue paper used is made from recyclable content too. When packing fragile products, we use biodegradable cornstarch packing peanuts. All of our printed material, such as packing slips and post cards are made with 100% recycled paper. Additionally, our apparel is packed in biodegradable bags.

We try to find that packaging "sweet-spot" where we use just enough packaging to ensure that your order gets to you in tip-top condition, but not so much as to be gratuitous or wasteful. If you want to recycle the packaging you receive with your order,  you can 1) use it to send to a friend; 2) drop it off at your local recycling center; or 3) drop it off at a local pack/ship store.
